!Fantastic, Beautiful specimen!Sablites sp.
The palm fronds are found in the Green River Formation.Location: Kemmerer, Wyoming. This specimen is 50 million years old.The palm is framed in oak. Has a hanger attached to the back side & has extra hanger for your wall & can be easily displayed. A few of the tips and stem have some repair and some matrix was added to square the specimen. This is a normal procedure on a lot of the Green River specimens.
The size of plate is 84" tall and 60 3/8" wide. The palm is from the top to bottom of stem 69" tall and 48" wide. This has a really nice natural color and shows up nicely on the limestone matrix. Complete Palms of this quality are rare.
This is the best Palm frond that we have ever offered and think it is reasonably priced.

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT AND UNIQUE WATER PLANT FROM BONANZA,UTAH !
Age: Eocene, about 45 million years old,found in the Green River Formation.
This is a wonderful Bulberous type water plant,something like a water lilly (unidentified).
A small crack has been repaired.
The size of plate is 11 1/2" X 25 1/8".
This specimen shows up nicely on the limestone rock.

VERY UNIQUE FLORA FROM BONANZA,UTAH !
Age: Eocene, about 45 million years old,found in the Green River Formation.
Complete leaf on left is an Allophylus (ELM) with insect chewings along the edge of the leaf. The stem has seven seeds from the Sycamore tree.
The size of plate is 16 5/8" X 8 1/8".
This specimen shows up nicely on the limestone rock.

The palm flowers are found in the Wyoming Green River Formation.Location: Kemmerer, Wyoming. This specimen is 50 million years old. The palm flower is backed with 5/8" strand board and could be easily displayed on a wall. The size of plate is 36" X 31". This specimen shows up very nicely on the limestone rock and is less common than the actual palm frond. It also has a small plant leaf and imprint of the palm frond leaf.
